What I did after leaving Kirk Hallam Sixth Form College: Studied by degree in Primary Education Later Years (Ages 7-11) at Leeds Trinity University and have recently completed my MA in Mental Health in Children and Young People with distinction at the same university.
What you are doing now: I am now working as a Year 5 teacher in Derby at a fantastic school with some extremely inspirational children! I am also currently writing my application for a Pre-doctoral fellowship to continue engaging in current research. This should continue my progression onto a doctorate course.
Advice you would give to the current KS5: Ensure that you are keeping on top of your studies and that your time management is up to scratch. This is crucial whilst completing A Levels but also a vital skill in your professional career! Good luck with it all!
