What you did after leaving Kirk Hallam Sixth Form College: I went on to study Philosophy at the University of Cambridge
What you are doing now: I’m currently working in policy at the Cabinet Office. This work involves working with people across government, the private sector, and charities.
Advice you would give the current KS5: It’s OK if you don’t know what you want to do. I left university still not knowing! I’d say try and take as many opportunities that come your way. Apply for internships and work experience and see what really interests you. If you know what you want to do, reach out to people already in that area and ask how they got into their job and any advice they could offer.
