Students of this course will gain a thorough grounding in both UK politics and world politics.
The course is broken down into the following components
Political participation.
Core political ideas.
UK Government.
Non-core political ideas.
USA or Global politics.
Three externally assessed examinations at the end of year 2. The examination is a combination of knowledge questions and evaluation questions. Each exam is 2 hours long.
You will need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 5 or above
A-Level politics opens a wide range of options for future careers and study in higher education institutions.
